Uninstalling CodeSmith Generator

  1. In Control Panel, go to Programs > Uninstall a program.
  2. Select CodeSmith Generator (the entry includes your version number), then click Uninstall.
  3. If you have custom templates in your samples folder, setup asks whether to delete the samples folder:
    • Click Yes to delete everything in the samples folder you chose when you installed Generator.
    • Click No to keep the samples folder for the next time you install Generator.

Warning

By default, the samples folder is C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\CodeSmith Generator\Samples. Back up any templates you want to keep before you click Yes.

If you plan to install Generator on a different computer, deactivate your license before you uninstall.
