Frameworks
The frameworks are complete sets of CodeSmith Generator templates. Point one at your database and it generates a working data or business layer, organized into a Visual Studio solution and ready for you to customize. Because the generated code separates generated files from the files you edit, you can regenerate whenever your schema changes without losing your work.
| Template set | What it generates | Languages |

| PLINQO for NHibernate | An NHibernate data layer: HBM mapping files, entities and query extensions. | C# |
| CSLA templates | CSLA .NET business objects and a data access layer, for CSLA 3.8, 4.3 and 4.5. | C#, Visual Basic |

Unblock each .zip file before you extract it, then extract it into its own folder under Documents\CodeSmith Generator\Templates, the folder that Template Explorer shows as My Templates.
The templates are also open source on GitHub:
- Source code, including the source of each template set's helper assemblies.
- Releases, with template downloads and sample projects.
- Issues, where you can report a bug or ask a question.
Start with the QuickStart
Every template set includes a QuickStart.cst template. Run it, select a database, and click Generate: it creates a complete Visual Studio solution and opens it for you. Each set's getting started page walks you through it:
