PLINQO for Entity Framework

PLINQO for Entity Framework (PLINQO EF) is a set of CodeSmith Generator templates that replace and enhance the Entity Framework designer. It generates C# and supports SQL Server.
Entity Framework is a powerful ORM that uses separate models to keep the data and object layers flexible, but it's often criticized as complex. PLINQO EF brings the simplicity, optimizations and convenience of PLINQO to Entity Framework: it generates your EDMX file and entity classes from your database, regenerates them safely as the database changes, and adds chainable query extensions.
