Graphical Reports

CodeSmith Insight now offers graphical reports that show you the health of your application, because seeing is believing.

CodeSmith Insight is an Error Reporting Service that ensures you will always receive a complete report of every issue that your end users will experience. Insight will automatically capture, submit, organize, and prioritize all errors that occur in your applications. Once this data has been collected, you can then view trends in your application's use and stability with CodeSmith Insight's reports.

For example, here we see the Project Exception Summary, which shows you a project's exception count over time. Below we can see the most exception prone modules for that project, as well as top exceptions by type. This data will help you to easily see which part of what applications are most in need of attention, allowing you to prioritize accordingly.

The Source Cases report provides us with a bar graph of where cases are being created from, be that email api or internally, for each project. This makes it easy to see which of your projects are most active, and helps draw conclusions regarding what that activity represents; whether its bugs, confusion, or perhaps some good ‘ole fashion back slapping.

You can also view the progress of your team members by seeing who is responding to incoming reports and emails in the Response Summary report. This report provides you with pie charts showing which projects received responses, as well as how many cases were resolved with or with out a response.
